Basic Points Of An Ideal Dincharya

1
.Try to wake and get up before sunrise. Most ancient belief systems stress the importance of rising early. It is generally accepted that the body functions better on an early start to the day. In summer and winter, being up by six o'clock is recommended. Before you get up, spend a few minutes planning your day and thinking about what you want to accomplish during the day.

2. After getting up, wash your face with water and clean your eyes, nose and mouth. Scrape your tongue with a specially designed silver or stainless steel scraper. If the tongue is coated, food cannot be tasted properly. Clean your teeth with an Ayurvedic Toothpaste and gargle with Ayurvedic oils or herbal preparations.

3. Drink a full of glass of water to activate the mechanisms for emptying the bladder and the bowels. Try to establish a routine whereby the bowels are evacuated at the same time every morning. Like all animals, we are creatures of habit, and our system works best when there is an established order of events. Constipation is a cause of many chronic complaints and a problem frequently encountered in the West. If people rush, they cannot give their bodies time to work properly, which is another reason for rising early and allowing sufficient time for everything.

4. In the East, the anus is always washed after bowel evacuation. A bath or shower is recommended following this function. It is important to wash the whole body every day to maintain a feeling of cleanliness and freshness. Ayurvedic practitioners believe that 'cleanliness is next to godliness', and this applies equally to body, clothes and the home After bathing, Ayurvedic oils showed be applied; massaging the head with neelyadi oil can prevent headaches as well as baldness and graying and thinning hair.

5. Take some physical exercise before breakfast. Yoga is ideal as it is suitable for almost everyone can be done anywhere and does not require special clothes or equipment. Exercise improves the circulation capacity for work, both physical and mental, throughout the day. It can also powerfully counter depression.

6. Eat breakfast before eight o'clock. Wash your hands before and after eating. Clean your teeth and tongue after every meal. if possible, take some gentle exercise to aid digestion.

7. Applying suitable Ayurvedic perfumes and wearing gems with special properties is recommended. A ring in particular, is traditionally believed to protect the wearer from the adverse influence of planets and demons. A more up-to-date view might be that we should take special care over how we dress, co-coordinating colours and styles so that our outward appearance reflects our inner harmony. The idea that particular colours suit particular people has its origins in the belief that we should dress in accordance with our individual dosha type, just as all other aspects of our lives should accord with our constitution.

8. Try to make lunch the main meal of the day. Eat the right amount (Ayurveda recommends that the ideal quantity of food for a single meal is that amount which can be scooped up with both hands), and at the right pace - neither too quickly nor too slowly. Be aware of the food you are eating:
concentrate on it. If possible eat in silence, without talking or laughing - and certainly without arguing. All of these features aid the metabolic process.

9. Do not drink with meals (except a sip of water to moisten the digestive tract). But drink water during the day. Limit tea and coffee to not more than two a day. The correct intake of water varies from individual to individual.

10. Do not 'snack' between meals as snacking leads to an erratic appetite. Make sure that each meal is properly digested before embarking on the next one (on average, four to five hours, depending on individual constitution).

11. Do not smoke commercially produced tobacco, Ayurveda recommends, and supplies the materials for, therapeutic smoking (cigars containing therapeutic herbs), which can available lung disease, coughs, hiccups, throat complaints, headaches, sinusitis, toothache, nasal problems, insomnia and general problems, such as loss of concentration and amnesia. Therapeutic smoking should be done after meals and after brushing the teeth. It stimulates the brain (whereas smoking commercial tobacco has the opposite effect).

12. Eat the evening meal early and allow time for it to be properly digested before going to bed. Whenever possible, for a gentle walk (of around 30 minutes) before retiring.

13. It is time for bed. This is the appropriate time for sex. Ideally, lights should be out at ten o'clock. Do not sleep on your stomach, but try to sleep on your side with your knees slightly bent
